This is a list of common questions and issues encountered by merchants while integrating and testing WeGetFinancing.
Can we do a dummy transaction to see how it works?
Section titled “Can we do a dummy transaction to see how it works?”Yes. Always run test transactions in the staging (sandbox) environment. Submit test applications against the sandbox using the Link Integration form or the Create Request API, and review them in the staging portal — see Test Environment & Test Data.
You can use any of the test subjects for testing.
Why do I get “We are unable to offer you a loan at this time.”?
Section titled “Why do I get “We are unable to offer you a loan at this time.”?”Because of the nature of credit products, we cannot show the end user the specific reasons a loan is not approved.
If this happens during testing, check the following:
- Are you using one of the known-good test subjects?
- Have you already used the same email address for a previous loan request? Each email / last-4-of-SSN combination can only be used once.
Can I email the link to the simple loan form to customers?
Section titled “Can I email the link to the simple loan form to customers?”Not directly. The platform only accepts simple loan form submissions from the domain registered as your webshop URL in the partner portal (under Portal → Account Settings). A link opened straight from an email does not come from your configured domain, so it will not work.
Instead, create a page on your webshop that links to the simple loan form, and email the URL of that page to your customers.
