Environments

WeGetFinancing runs separate environments so you can build and test safely before taking real orders. Every code example in these docs can be switched between environments with the Environment control in the top-right of the page — pick the one you’re working in and each snippet updates its hosts (and the reminder above it) to match.

EnvironmentWhat it’s forBase hosts
Production / LiveReal customers, real loans, real money. Use only once your integration is tested and ready to go live.api.wegetfinancing.com · ppe.wegetfinancing.com · partner.wegetfinancing.com
Sandbox / StagingBuilding and testing. Real API behaviour against test subjects and test bank details — no real applications, no real money.api.sandbox.wegetfinancing.com · ppe.sandbox.wegetfinancing.com · partner.sandbox.wegetfinancing.com

Sandbox and production use separate credentials, issued from the back-office. A sandbox token or API key never works against production, and vice-versa — so switching environment means switching hosts and credentials.

Use the Environment button in the top navigation bar to switch every code example on the page between environments. Your choice is remembered as you move around the docs, and a short reminder above each environment-sensitive example tells you which environment that snippet is currently set to.

  1. Develop and test against Sandbox / Staging. Create requests, drive the full flow, and verify your postback handling using the test subjects and bank details. Nothing here is real, so you can iterate freely.
  2. When everything works, switch to Production / Live. Point your integration at the production hosts, swap in your production credentials, and do a final check with a real (small) order before you announce it.
